- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆This is story about my first and last experience at East Valley Pawn. These guys said they buy ammunition. I called and was told $10 a box is what they paid for the caliber I had. When I got there the guy looked at them and said, "The boxes are kinda beat up. I can give you only $5 a box." When I asked why only $5 the guy looked me right in the eye and with a straight but face said, "I'm going to have to sell these as used." Used??? A live cartridge is single use only. They are scrap brass after they have been used. I have done business with every pawn shop in town. Of all the pawn shops in town this is the one I do not recommend.By William Bear, April 28, 2017
